To learn more about Geronimo Power, visit geronimopower.com or follow the company on LinkedIn.SummaryThe Strategic Procurement Lead is responsible for EPC procurement, proposal management, and contracting for utility scale solar projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEPCWork closely with Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Permitting and other functions to ensure an integrated EPC contracting approachRun EPC RFP, prepare, negotiate and execute utility scale solar contracts (EPC Agreements/Exhibits/Appendices) that meet the company’s objectives for safety, delivery, performance, schedule, quality, price and terms & conditions.Own EPC transaction, including price, design, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and contract executionAssist in building and maintaining key process tools for EPC RFP and contractingDevelop and deploy negotiations strategies to achieve favorable outcomes during contract negotiations and dispute resolutionsAnalyze and manage risk in contracting with vendors and be familiar with evolving quality factors within the PV and storage industries.Coordinate all aspects of administration and documentation including bid solicitations, bid evaluations, and contract negotiationsDevelop contract highlights & checklists for the project management and operations teams to better facilitate the management of contracts throughout the construction and operations phases.Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making even in ambiguous situations.Maintain contractor quality standards to ensure the Company's quality requirements are met with each and every delivery.OthersWork closely with Supply Chain and Engineering, Construction and Operations functions to capture intelligence and generate insights on supply chain and PV landscape to support cost modeling and roadmap for Balance of SystemSupport other members of the Procurement Team in achieving the overall group goalsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProven ability to effectively coordinate and handle, under pressure, multiple projects with a high degree of independence and professional judgment to meet or beat project deadlines and budgetDemonstrated ability to read and interpret solar design, development, and construction documents, specifications, and bids and develop a bigger picture view of the project scope.Familiarity with solar EPC contracts.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and other MS applicationsDetail-oriented with excellent project management skills and ability to motivate peoplePassion for organization, timely execution of tasks, and containing expensesStrong interpersonal skills with ability to tactfully handle conflicts and drive consensusExceptional analytical skills with ability to research, analyze, and draw conclusions from large, complex datasets.Experience & EducationTechnical or Business Degree requiredMBA highly preferred4-5 years’ experience in Utility Scale solar preferredBackground in procurement or engineering preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a highly analytical and/or cross-functional rolePay Range for the posted level: $ 110,000-138,000.00We offer a comprehensive benefit package, including Medical, Dental, 401(k) and disability benefits.
