Job OpportunityThis position requires the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric, are essential. Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, are required.Under the direction of the area supervisor, the candidate will perform daily activities accurately and on time. They will maintain a safe and professional environment, perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures, maintain required records and documentation, and demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). A minimum of six months of experience is required. One or more years of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
