Lead Java Developer

Role: Java Developer Experience: 10-15 Years Location- Columbus, OH, Plano, TX or Houston, TX Relocation works *Position Overview* We are seeking a *603-level Java Lead Engineer* as part of the *CCB Ramp/Surge initiative*. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, team guidance, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced enterprise environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding daily activities and delivery expectations * Define team standards, engineering practices, and collaboration approach * Drive design and development of scalable microservices-based applications * Anticipate and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery * Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance standards, and SLAs * Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high performance *Required Skills & Experience* * 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience * Strong expertise in *Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture* * Proven experience working with *AWS cloud technologies* * Prior *tech lead / team lead experience* managing engineers * Strong understanding of: * CI/CD pipelines * Automation and DevOps practices * Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) * Application resiliency & security * Experience working in *Agile environments* * Domain exposure to *Financial Services / Banking systems* * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field *Preferred Qualifications* * Strong understanding of *OOP principles & design patterns* * Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable Java code * Hands-on experience with AWS services such as: * EC2 * S3 * Lambda * Cloud-native application development experience Pay: $62.66 - $75.47 per hour Work Location: In person
