They offer a hands-on, collaborative environment where strong engineering thinking and practical problem-solving are valued over process-heavy or purely theoretical approaches.You’ll be part of a highly technical team where engineers are given ownership, autonomy, and the chance to see their work move from concept through to testing and deployment.This role is best suited to a Thermofluids Engineer with strong fundamentals in heat transfer and fluid mechanics, who is confident performing detailed hand calculations and enjoys applying engineering principles to real hardware challenges.The Role:Lead thermal-fluid design, modelling, and system-level analysisPerform detailed hand calculations and first-principles engineering analysisSupport prototype development, testing, and rapid design iterationsWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across design and build phasesThe Person:Thermofluids / Heat Transfer / Fluid Mechanics backgroundConfident with hand calculations and first-principles engineeringCFD experience (ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM etc.) beneficial but not essentialPractical, hands-on engineering mindset with a focus on real-world applicationComfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability start-up environmentU.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required
