QualificationsRequires a general knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, machine operation and tooling as generally acquired through up to 2 years of experience, or equivalentAbility to use standard office equipmentComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, i.eWord, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, PublisherAbility to add, sub-tract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsThe employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawlMust be able to walk or stand on concrete for up to 4 hours at a timeMust be able to lift 50 pounds without assistanceSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and the ability to focusMachining: 2 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Pewaukee, WI 53072 (Required)ResponsibilitiesREPORTS TO: Manufacturing ManagerSTATUS: Full Time, 1st shift, Non-ExemptSet-up, check routine programs, operate and adjust automatic or semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools and/or CNC machining equipment to perform standard or repetitive sequences of operations to meet close tolerance and finish requirementsRecognize tool and fixture applications and proven program formatFollow detailed part drawings and specifications regarding applications, coding, arrangements and settingsNote and report variations from specificationsUnder supervision, assist with prove-out of program tapes for new work or critical variationsRecommend tooling arrangements, fixtures, operation sequence, etcMake setups for and instruct Machine Operators of lower classification for previous programsUse a variety of precision measuring instrumentsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hearThe employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, feel or handle objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands or arms
