Geospatial Analyst - Object Based Intelligence (OBI) Advanced Method
Overview
In this role you will drive geospatial intelligence for OBIs, transforming diverse data into actionable insights for decision-makers. You will work within an intelligence-focused team to integrate geospatial data across sources, develop and explain models, and apply advanced methods to spatial-temporal data. The position emphasizes building practical, interpretable geospatial analyses that support warfighter decision productivity and mission outcomes. This is a mission-driven role with opportunities to advance geospatial techniques and tools within a national security context.
ResponsibilitiesConduct geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and use of geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social, and physical sciencesExploit imagery, vector, and other data types including non-geospatially correlated dataMap objects in the spatial domain to provide location, identity, and geographic features and activitiesIntegrate geospatial data into all source products and analytical workflowsBuild and explain geospatial models that leverage statistics, data science, and quantitative methodsAnalyze and characterize spatial-temporal data using GIS such as ArcGIS or QGISProvide advice on emerging geospatial methods, tools, algorithms, training, or requirementsEmploy new methodologies or data sets to address information gaps and identify high-quality solutions to complex analytic problemsLeverage cartographic principles in map products for ease of use and interpretationDevelop or discover algorithms to analyze, process, or visualize data for distributed processing
