Housekeeper
Job TitleCleaning and Sanitizing StaffEssential Job FunctionsCleaning and sanitizing office areas including workspaces, public areas, and bathrooms.Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.Emptying trash bins and recycling containers.Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.Restocking bathroom supplies and sanitary items.Performing routine inspection and maintenance activities.Notifying management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.Adhering to health and safety standards, using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.Assisting in the setup of event spaces or meeting rooms.Deep clean areas to prepare for the next meetings.Carry out other duties as assigned.Position RequirementsAbility to work at a fast pace to clean and sanitize building daily for health of members, visitors and staff.Ability to handle detailed work at an appropriate pace to complete all tasks daily.Must be able to relate and interact appropriately and professionally with members, visitors and staff.Use good judgment when working with cleaning chemicals, using appropriate PPE, ventilation, etc. Work safely and use team assistance when task exceeds personal ability.Ability to speak distinctly and to communicate verbally with members, visitors and staff.Physical RequirementsLifting, pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment as physically required—including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning showers, scrubbing floors and furniture.Physical stamina – must be able to bend, kneel, squat and sit on the floor, etc. as required to lead, to perform cleaning tasks and to maintain a safe working environment.Must be able to stand, walk around and remain active at least 95% of work shift as required.Monday - Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm
