Quality Intern

Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) is seeking a Quality Intern to join our Quality team in Jefferson Hills, PA. This is a hands-on, onsite internship focused on supporting the Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS and EMS) through documentation control, data analysis, and continuous improvement activities. This position is ideal for engineering students interested in gaining real-world experience in a manufacturing and quality-driven environment.Job Details:Type of Employment: Internship (Paid)Location: Jefferson Hills, PADivision/Department: Corporate/QualityReports to: Quality ManagerKey Responsibilities:Maintain and update quality and environmental documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and recordsEnsure quality and environmental documents are properly controlled and accessibleSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality departmentAssist in identifying opportunities for process improvementsParticipate in root cause analysis and support implementation of long-term corrective actions across departmentsCompile and analyze quality and environmental data to generate reports supporting QMS and EMS improvement initiativesWork within the Quality and Environmental Management Systems, including Quality Policy, Environmental Policy, and related objectivesOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequiredCurrently finishing 2nd or 3rd year of college in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial EngineeringProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skillsInterest in problem-solving and root cause analysisPreferred:Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 standardsWhy Kurt J.
