They are looking for a Backend Python Developer with hands-on AI experience to join their team onsite in Mountain View, California. You'll build and maintain backend services that power AI-driven functionality, working side by side with the client's engineers. This is a chance to write production code for a platform that many of the world's largest companies use to build their AI, and to see how that kind of platform is built from the inside.🛠️ TASKS AND DELIVERABLESDesign, build, and maintain backend functionality in Python, with an emphasis on clean, testable, production-ready code.Develop and support backend components that power AI-related features, such as integrating models, serving AI outputs through APIs, and handling the data flows behind them.Work onsite with the client's engineering team to align on requirements, review code, and iterate quickly on deliverables.Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing backend services for reliability and performance.Contribute to technical discussions and documentation that keep the team aligned.✅ REQUIRED EXPERIENCEStrong backend development experience with Python, including building and maintaining APIs and services in production.Hands-on experience with AI in a backend context, such as integrating LLMs or ML models, building AI-powered features, or supporting AI workflows end to end.Solid grasp of backend fundamentals: API design, databases, testing, and debugging.Bay Area residence and the ability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA.Strong communication skills and comfort working in close, in-person collaboration with a client team.⭐ NICE TO HAVEExperience working with Go or Java.Familiarity with data platforms or large-scale data processing environments.🎯 ENGAGEMENT HIGHLIGHTSWork on backend and AI systems for a platform that many of the world's largest organizations depend on.A focused technical scope: backend Python and AI, without being spread across unrelated work.Onsite collaboration gives you direct access to the client team, fast feedback loops, and real visibility into your impact.A strong addition to your portfolio at the intersection of backend engineering and applied AI.
