DescriptionJob Summary:Ensure all areas of Casino property are maintained in good condition by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including plumbing, electrical, lighting, pneumatics and hydraulics in accordance to Company policies and procedures, with strong emphasis on safety.Essential Job Functions:Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties on all building mechanical systems, equipment, and toolsWork with senior engineers in coordinating projects and project schedulingOperate life safety systemsPerform maintenance and repairPerform mechanical services of power plant including chillers, air compressors and related equipmentAll other duties that may be assignedWork Environment:Must be able to work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as rain, dust, extreme heat and extreme cold, CRT fatigueMust be willing to work any shift when necessaryMust be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smokeRequirements:Must be able to speak, read, write and understand EnglishMust have High School Diploma or equivalentMust have valid Nevada Driver's License or ability to obtain sameMust have ability to perform basic mathematical functionsMust have working knowledge of office equipment such as phones, copiers, computers, fax machinesMust have minimum of three years experience in casino and kitchen maintenanceMust have minimum of three years experience in plumbing, electrical, paint and general carpentryMust be able to utilize hand tools and electronic equipment, electrical, plumbing, and lightingMust be at least 21 years of agePhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift maximum of 50 lbsMust be able to move around property quicklyMust be able to work in confines spaces and awkward positionsMust be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, walk, sit and stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairsMust have manual dexterity in hands and fingersThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
