Our organization is currently looking for a Pediatric Physiatrist to join the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. This is a part-time role, requiring 32 hours of work each week. For the right individual, we also provide an opportunity for a faculty position at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, based on their qualifications and experience.RequirementsApplicants must meet the following criteria:Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is mandatory.A fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation is required.Possession of a current, active, and unrestricted Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license to practice in New York, along with a valid DEA license.Responsibilities and ExpectationsThe selected candidate will be tasked with the following duties:Managing the outpatient pediatric rehabilitation clinic and the pediatric brace clinic, as well as administering Botox injections.Conducting inpatient consultations and supervising adult bedside consultations as necessary.Primarily working at Elmhurst Hospital Center for three days a week, while also providing services at Queens Hospital Center for one day.Application ProcessInterested candidates should submit their CV along with a brief overview of their career aspirations and objectives.Our organization is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
