Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) – Behavioral Health (16-hours only!) Full-Time | Residential Behavioral Health Setting | OhioA growing behavioral health organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join a multidisciplinary clinical team within a highly structured therapeutic environment. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful psychiatric care while working within a collaborative, mission-driven organization focused on behavioral health treatment and recovery.The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ongoing treatment planning, crisis intervention support, and clinical collaboration within a residential behavioral health setting.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessmentsDiagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health disordersPrescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practices and state regulationsCollaborate with therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and leadership to support integrated treatment planningParticipate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetingsSupport crisis intervention efforts and safety planning when clinically indicatedMaintain timely and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health recordCommunicate with guardians, referral sources, community providers, and external agencies as appropriateQualificationsRequiredMaster’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Psychiatric-Mental Health specializationCurrent PMHNP-BC certificationActive APRN licensure in the State of OhioDEA registration and prescribing authorityMinimum of two years of behavioral health experienceStrong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to thrive within a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environmentPreferredExperience within residential treatment or acute behavioral health settingsFamiliarity with Medicaid and behavioral health documentation standardsTrauma-informed care experienceTraining in evidence-based modalities such as DBT, TF-CBT, or EMDRCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement benefitsContinuing education supportMalpractice coverageCollaborative and supportive leadership environmentThis is an on-site opportunity located in Ohio.
