Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:CT Technologist - CT TechJob Details:• Work 5 x 8-hour shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM• Dual modality position combining CT Tech and X-Ray Tech responsibilities• Must work independently and unsupervised• Perform CT imaging exams and diagnostic/fluoroscopic examinations• Operate computerized tomographic scanner equipment• Complete portable and operating room examinations• Use pediatric immobilization devices while adhering to safety precautions• Prepare written documentation including patient consent and chart documentation• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary• Check equipment, supplies and accessories regularly• Assess physical needs of adult and geriatric patients• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas• Complete examinations in timely manner while observing radiation safety standards• Work with PACS system and maintain computer literacy• Address special needs of all age groups and assist hearing impaired or physically challenged patients• High School diploma or equivalent required• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program required• NYSDOH License and ARRT certification required• BLS AHA certification required• Free housing provided on first contractFacility:This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department and imaging services, providing 24/7 medical care to the community.
