This role is responsible for designing, diagnosing, managing, and optimizing advanced network services to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise IT assets.The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in introducing new networking technologies, supporting business initiatives, and enabling stable, secure connectivity across corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments. This position requires deep hands-on expertise across enterprise networking technologies, an ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.This is a highly collaborative role suited for a proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership of issues through resolution and contributes to a team culture built on technical rigor, learning, and shared responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement short‑ and long‑term network architecture plans to support current and future capacity, performance, and security requirementsDevelop, implement, and maintain network standards, policies, documentation, and operational runbooksMonitor, manage, and maintain network assets, including inventory tracking, lifecycle management, and configuration documentationOwn incidents and problems through final resolution, ensuring high availability and service reliabilityPlan, acquire, and coordinate the installation of on‑premises and remote network hardware and softwareManage and optimize enterprise network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructureAdminister and maintain network security solutions, including next‑generation firewalls, secure access technologies, and zero‑trust architecturesTest and analyze network performance; produce reports and recommend improvements to ensure optimal operationCommunicate network initiatives, changes, and incident status to technical teams, project stakeholders, and business partnersCollaborate closely with other engineering and operations teams to share knowledge and improve systemsManage day‑to‑day operational support, including tickets, SLAs, and on‑call responsibilitiesPerform additional duties as needed in support of business and technology objectivesMaintain the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountabilityQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience and certifications8+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, DDI, and firewall environmentsDemonstrated experience designing, deploying, and managing large‑scale enterprise networksStrong background with intent‑based networking and Network Access Control (NAC) solutionsHands‑on experience with software‑defined networking technologies such as SD‑WAN, SD‑Access, and tools including DNAC, ISE, and vManageExperience with next‑generation firewalls and modern security architectures, including SASE, zero‑trust, and secure remote accessDeep understanding of networking protocols, standards, and advanced routing/switching conceptsProven ability to troubleshoot network issues across all layers, from physical infrastructure to application deliveryExperience managing network infrastructure across distributed or customer‑facing environmentsWireless networking expertise (Cisco‑based environments preferred)Strong leadership, organizational, and self‑management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiencesAbility to prioritize effectively and operate under pressure during critical incidentsCustomer‑focused mindset with a collaborative, team‑oriented approachParticipation in an on‑call rotation is required
