There has never been a better time to join EQ.Role SummaryThe Securities Operations Service Specialist is part of the Check Replacement Team and plays a key role in ensuring that shareholders' check replacement requests are completed successfully. Check files are reviewed and process timely.In this role, the selected candidate will perform a variety of processing tasks or cash related transaction verifications or processes that require working knowledge of unit functions and systems.Core Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Review and process shareholders' check replacement requestsBalance and process cash transactionsProcess daily check filesRespond to inquiries or requests from other internal teams as appropriateResearch and resolve exception items as appropriateProvides back-up support to other tasks in the team as assignParticipates in production improvement effortsEnsure the department's work is completed on time and accurately by planning and coordinating the daily activities with other team members in the teamSkills, Capabilities and AttributesThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: transfer agent experience, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, or operationsSecurities experiencePrevious check handling/balancing/accounting experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracy skillsMicrosoft Office skillsPrevious experiences working with excel spreadsheetsAbility to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find informationExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgmentHave solid systems application knowledge (CEO, DTC, Crystal Reports, SSP1, etc.)Ability to use systems/tools to research and problem solve.Strong time management skillsCompensation$19.00- $20.00 hourlyWe are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.Please note any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment screening checks.
