Rigging Project Engineer

Strong candidates will have 2-4 years background in theatrical or production rigging or comparable industry experience with ETCP rigging certification a plus. Rigging Project Manager Responsibilities:Be the Rigging subject matter expertGet continued industry training such as ETCP, OSHA, Project Management, Manufacturing training such as ETC Prodigy, Thern, and others.Review contract documents such as drawings and specifications to ensure these inputs are incorporated into system designCreate a detailed bill of materials with all equipment and materials needed for a successful projectPerform site surveys, field checks, site readiness visits, and contractor meetings as requiredCoordinate with drafters and engineers on submittal and shop drawingsGenerate and submit RFI’s, change orders, and submittal packages to clientCoordinate with vendors for procurement and fabrication of project deliverables from drawing packages to the fieldSupport field team and design team during installation and commissioningTrack budget throughout project to avoid cost overruns, and develop lessons learned at completion to implement on future projectsSome travel required
