compiling - and analyzing practitioner specific and aggregated by subspecialty data for the completion of the ongoing professional practice evaluation (OPPE) process and maintenance of the provider specific filesThe OPPE process identifies professional practice trends that may impact on quality of care - the incumbent communicates negative trends or threshold breaches to the appropriate clinical service chief with validated data and supporting documentationThe criteria used in the ongoing professional practice evaluation and thus the type of data to be collected with performance targets will be based on provider privileges - determined by individual departments - and approved by the professional standard board and the Medical Executive BoardOPPE is conducted concurrently and reviewed regularly by the respective service chiefsThe incumbent consistently demonstrates an understanding and procedures to implement VHA directives and accreditation standards related to credentialing -
