Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists partner physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non-medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer. Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of patients who are struggling to pay for their daily living expenses while undergoing cancer treatment? The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for Spanish speaking volunteers to assist our Client Services team virtually! The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist the FCS Foundation with virtual responsibilities. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients applying for financial assistance. We request a three to six hours a week commitment for at least a 6 months. These volunteers are helping to support our mission of supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment in the state of Florida with their non-medical financial needs. Duties include Answer and follow-up calls using Google Voice (Training & Set-up Provided) Assist with answering questions and communicating with patients applying for grant assistance Assist with written correspondence, letters, emails and other related correspondence Skills Administrative Support Customer Service Organization Computer skills Good communication skills, written and verbal Requirements Volunteers must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
