Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician to cover 5 stored located in the following cities: Farmers Branch, TX, US Plano, TX, US Dallas, TX, US Garland, TX, US Allen, TX, US Salary Range: 22.00 To 35.00 (USD) Hourly DOQ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for expedient and cost-effective “up time” and equipment availability for: Tunnel equipment including: Equipment Settings Tunnel Brushes Blowers Vacuums Chemical Equipment including: Preventative Maintenance Variables that Affect the End Product Pre-Wash Equipment Light Touch Equipment Finish Support Equipment Chemistry and Tunnel Controls Equipment Backroom Equipment Repair Water Works Power Packs Prep Unit Pumps Air Functions Compressor/Vac Conveyor and belt Belt Maintenance Drive Shaft Drive Section Maintenance Drum and Bearings Return Rollers This will require daily, weekly &/or monthly maintenance and minor repairs according to Car Spa maintenance procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Responsible for carrying and maintaining the proper tools for the job. Responsible ordering parts and maintaining inventory of critical parts. Responsible warranty compliance. Responsible for training store operations staff on best practices for using and troubleshooting the most common equipment stoppages. Additional expectations: Report any concerns or observations pertaining to the operation of the equipment, including leaks, broken components, strange sounds or smells, unusual vibrations, etc., that may suggest malfunction, impending breakdown, an unsafe condition or the need for maintenance attention or repair. Be on call during normal operating hours for consultation, either in person or by phone as the situation requires, on matters pertaining to car wash equipment operation. Log equipment inspections, maintenance and repairs in the ticketing system in real time. Working Conditions: Work is done both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather Safety is a prime concern. You must be alert to the hazards of traffic, moving equipment, electrical and chemical exposure and the activities of others You are required to enter and/or reach all areas of any type vehicle. You must constantly bend, reach, stoop and stretch. You must be able to step up into and down out of vehicles. Qualifications: Mandatory Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Preferred Mechanical or electronic certificate of training Car Wash experience Customer service experience Next Possible Position(s): Car Wash Sr Maintenance Specialist
