Senior Systems EngineerArcfield is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer dedicated to supporting Enterprise Resiliency systems in a Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) capacity for major Enterprise Resiliency Defensive-related system acquisitions. The candidate will provide technical modeling support by assessing space requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), architecture products, system schedules, and risks for end-to-end closure of the baseline for Space protection-related activities in the overall Enterprise. This component of the Intelligence-Space Programs segment provides Enterprise Systems Engineering and Integration capabilities to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization. The program supports full lifecycle acquisition implementing digital engineering across all mission domains of complex national systems architecture. SETAs provide the customer with the expertise needed to provide mission success.The candidate will work collaboratively across stakeholder organizations to obtain system end-to-end closure of the Enterprise Resiliency Defense programs by supporting system readiness events out of the model following approved digital engineering processes for integration and closure. Interfacing with customers across the enterprise is imperative for system integration.The candidate will interact with several government enterprise systems engineers and stakeholders, as well as multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and government and contractor stakeholders to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges. The candidate, as part of the team, will also support the Enterprise Resiliency Enterprise Portfolio Manager with strategic planning for future capability acquisition and insertion into the baseline leveraging digital tools.QualificationsRequired Skills:Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with a PhD in a STEM fieldTechnical experience working with space-based sensors and systemsKnowledge of space/ground/comm systems and sensor vulnerabilitiesFamiliarity with system threatsA passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possibleExperience with large acquisition systems engineering efforts, methods, and processesAbility to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environmentGood oral and written communication skillsGood business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environmentUnderstanding of the System Engineering "V" processDemonstrated technical leadership integrated engineering teamsExperience with Systems Engineering and all related functional disciplines thereinExperience developing and conducting briefings for senior level customer stakeholdersDesired Skills:OCSMP certification (Level 1 or Level 2) and willingness to obtain Level 3 extensive experience with MBSE, SysML applications, digital tools, Confluence, and JiraExperience with Intelligence Community (IC) customer or Department of Defense (DoD)Knowledge of Ground systems and overall space and ground architectureAwareness of mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessmentExperience identifying user & enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis, and assessmentExperience in requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, test, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering in support of customer's missionsProven adaptability and experience with daily interaction on-site with the government customersKnowledge of Space/Ground/Communications systemsExperience with requirements database management/repositoriesExperience with requirements closure, threat scenarios and analysis, and VV&T strategies that align to an agile development approachEEO StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and federal government contractor.
