About the Role As our Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing our mining and processing operations. Based in the beautiful coastal city of Lompoc, California, you'll lead cross-functional teams to define and execute game-changing improvement programs that boost our cost competitiveness and operational efficiency. Up to 30% travel required. Key Responsibilities Spearhead our Continuous Improvement program across three strategically located mines and processing plants in California, Nevada, and Washington Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout our organization Collaborate with Imerys Center of Excellence to analyze and optimize processes, driving safety, efficiency, and quality improvements Generate and implement high-impact initiatives that deliver substantial cost savings Provide expert guidance and mentorship to on-site teams, empowering them to embrace and drive change Monitor project progress and savings, ensuring we stay at the cutting edge of process management, modification, and energy optimization Capture and share best practices across our global network, positioning yourself as a thought leader in the industry What You Bring to the Table A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, Operational Excellence, or related fields Mastery of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills The ability to influence and inspire teams in a matrix organization A passion for developing others and organizing effective training programs Green or Black Belt certification (preferred) Why Join Us?
