Field Sales Rep

OverviewThis position is for a self-motivated sales representative to actively seek out and foster new customer relationships, as well as maintain current customers, for Harley Marine Services and all subsidiary companies.ResponsibilitiesEstablish, develop and maintain customer relationships for Harley Marine Services and all subsidiary companiesSeek out and make initial contact with potential customersTravel throughout the country and abroad, on a regular basis, to build and maintain customersAttend trade shows and industry events to accumulate new leadsCompile information and data related to current and prospect customer interactionsGenerate weekly sales reports for submittal to management teamUpdate customer and meeting information utilizing SalesForce CRM software Responsible for the management of sales pipeline reports Collaborate with management to improve and update marketing materialsAttend all sales meetings Perform related duties as assigned. QualificationsMust be familiar with strategic selling and all elements of the sales processMust be able to cross multiple market segments, service lines, and geographic regions easilyPrevious experience utilizing a CRM softwareMust be comfortable approaching potential customersMust be financially conscious, using travel and entertainment dollars to their maximum capacityProficient with Microsoft SuiteMust have some knowledge of the marine petroleum transportation industryMust be able to develop and maintain professional relationshipsMust be able to work in a fast-paced office setting and be capable of handling multiple projects with firm deadlines.Maintains the highest level of integrity, ethics, and honesty Job Condition and Environment Expected travel 50% of the work weekExposed to a combination of normal office type environments and client environmentsMay be required to board tugs, barges, and ships, at dock or at anchor Expected Hours of Work Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
