The role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to their designated destinations. Responsibilities include vehicle inspection and maintenance, compliance with all driving and safety regulations, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring the accurate completion of documentation. Drivers are expected to communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers, maintain a high level of professionalism, and prioritize safety at all times. This position is home weekly.QualificationsValid CDL Class A license and a clean driving recordProficiency in route navigation, time management, and adherence to delivery schedulesKnowledge of vehicle inspection, basic maintenance, and safety proceduresStrong organizational skills and attention to detail for completing delivery documentationExcellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with dispatchers and clientsAbility to adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulationsFamiliarity with loading and unloading procedures is a plusFamiliarity with chains, straps, tarps, dunnage, etc.
