About the CompanySummer Construction Field Intern (Environmental or Civil Engineering) Location: Sabine Pass Duration: Approximately 3 months (Summer) Compensation: 40 dollars per hour Housing: Hotel provided by the site Transportation: Shuttle buses available to site or carpool optionsAbout the RoleWe are seeking motivated college students entering their third or fourth year of an engineering program. This short-term summer surge position is ideal for students pursuing environmental or civil engineering who want hands on field construction experience. Interns will support the construction team in daily field activities. The work will focus on quality checks, verification tasks, and ensuring installation accuracy across active construction areas.ResponsibilitiesPerform field walkdowns and support punch list developmentComplete progress verification activitiesConfirm correct installation of equipment and materialsWork through established construction checklistsSupport project engineers with documentation and reportingCollaborate with field supervisors to monitor ongoing workMaintain a strong focus on safety in all tasks QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a four-year engineering programEntering junior or senior yearEnvironmental Engineering or Civil Engineering strongly preferred Required SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work outdoors in a field construction environmentStrong communication and teamwork skills Preferred SkillsReal world field construction experienceExposure to major industrial project operationsHands on understanding of quality control and progress trackingMentorship from experienced engineers and supervisors Pay range and compensation packageCompensation: 40 dollars per hourEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
