Food QA Technician

Food QA Technician SmartTalent is hiring for a company in Woodinville. This is a food production plant where you can smell hot chocolate and other yummy smells and get free samples of food daily! The QA Tech I must gain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all products, procedures and policies. The employee works closely with the QA Manager and Operations on all levels of receiving, production, labeling and shipping preparations LOCATION: Woodinville, WA PAY: $24 - $25 *Pay depends on shift and experience level SCHEDULE: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1130pm - must be flexible to work 10 hour shifts as needed till 1:30am. occasionally may require work on Fridays as needed. BENEFITS OFFERED: o Paid Weekly o Direct Deposit o Paid Training o Paid Sick Leave o Affordable Healthcare Plan o Full-Time Job Responsibilities: Inspect and receive incoming materials; complete and file receiving reportsVerify accuracy and proper formatting of product lot codesInitiate and accurately complete production data reports, submitting them promptly to management as neededCommunicate across departments and distribute relevant documentation to appropriate personnelPerform or assist with basic testing such as pH checks, time-temperature monitoring, and net weight data collectionMonitor and log all critical control points (CCPs) and control points (CPs)Support preparations for both internal and external food safety and quality auditsHelp investigate and resolve customer complaintsContribute to the development and implementation of production and sanitation SOPsPromote and maintain sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout all operationsAssist in understanding procedures, standards, method sheets, and training documentationEnsure production staff understand and apply operational corrective actions when requiredParticipate in monthly self-auditsCarry out additional projects and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager Key Skills: Highschool Diploma or Equivalent1 year of QA Experience, preferably in food/beverage manufacturingBasic computer skills (outlook,word,excel)Must be able to lift 10lbs consistently, 50lbs occasionally Apply today and one of our recruiters will help you get started asap!
