Job Title: Welder - BReports to: Welder LeadmanJob Type: Hourly, Non-ExemptSUMMARY: Welds materials using a variety of processes primarily FCAW and GMAWREQUIRED COMPETENCIESProduces quality welds as specified in work order.Follows welding procedures and directions of supervisor.Uses basic welders tools and equipment.Performs general daily maintenance tasks and checks of welding equipmentUpkeep and cleanliness of work areas.Follow company safety & security guidelinesAttendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.Other duties as needed.DESIRED Essential duties and responsibilitiesOperates forklift and other material handling equipment to move materials and manipulate workpiece.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee is frequently required to sit while performing the duties of this job (approx. 20%) walk (80%) stand.
