Civil Project Engineer – Capital Projects

We are actively hiring a Civil Project Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Lebanon, IN. This role will serve as the Package Project Manager for critical civil and architectural scopes on a major capital project, acting as the owner’s representative to drive coordination, oversight, and accountability across project stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Manage assigned civil and architectural project packages as Package Project ManagerOversee scope areas such as fireproofing, cladding, glazing, roofing, firestopping, and cold roomsReview and validate change orders for scope accuracy and execution intentCoordinate with EPCM partners, design firms, and construction contractorsLead package readiness across design, constructability, and execution phasesEnsure project alignment with cost, schedule, quality, and scope objectivesDrive issue resolution through progress meetings and stakeholder coordinationProvide owner-side oversight, focusing on execution accountability rather than hands-on field managementRequired Qualifications:5+ years in project engineering, construction management, or project managementExperience managing $10M–$15M+ package scopesBackground as an Owner’s Representative or in package coordination rolesStrong expertise in scope control, package execution, and change managementExperience working with EPCM firms and multidisciplinary construction teamsIndustry experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or chemical manufacturing preferredBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related fieldThis is a great opportunity for a civil project professional who excels in cross-functional coordination, package oversight, and stakeholder management within highly regulated environments.
