Office Manager

Location: Walpole, MA | On-site 5 days/weekSalary Range: $70K-$80KSchedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5About the OpportunityA growing law firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations, support financial management, and help drive continued organizational growth. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional with strong experience in office administration, bookkeeping, payroll, and HR who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.The Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting employees, firm leadership, and long-term business objectives.Required QualificationsPrevious Office Manager experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environmentStrong background in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll processingExperience with QuickBooks, Intuit, AP/AR reporting, and financial reconciliationsFamiliarity with IOLTA accountsExperience with CLIO, Microsoft Outlook, and ExcelKnowledge of HR administration and Massachusetts employment lawsStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple operational prioritiesProven ability to provide financial oversight, forecasting, and operational support to leadershipResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day law office operations and administrative workflowsSupport and supervise office personnel while helping improve efficiency and productivityCoordinate employee meetings, internal communications, performance reviews, and office initiativesManage office vendors, systems, technology platforms, and operational proceduresAssist leadership with special projects and operational planningCoordinate office events, seminars, luncheons, and community activitiesProvide backup phone coverage and support daily administrative functionsManage bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping activitiesProcess and audit payroll using QuickBooks and IntuitRun and evaluate accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR) reportsReconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial recordsPrepare and deliver consistent financial statements and forecasting reports to ownershipMaintain familiarity with IOLTA accountsAssist with budgeting for both law office operations and real estate/building managementSupport onboarding, hiring, training, and employee development initiativesAssist with general HR administration and maintain familiarity with Massachusetts employment lawsMonitor insurance policies and compliance-related procedures for both office and property operationsTake the Next StepIf you are an experienced legal operations professional looking to make an immediate impact within a growing and supportive law firm environment, apply today.
