Manufacturing Engineer

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.Position Summary:Manufacturing Engineer supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for our emissions control and clean energy products. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness while supporting our commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughputCollaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support new product introductions (NPI)Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste eliminationDesign and improve tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in fabrication and assemblySupport troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actionsCreate and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process flowsEnsure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and quality requirementsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma effortsAssist in vendor selection, equipment procurement, and facility layout planning as neededProvide technical guidance and training to production staffEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldQualifications:3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Experience with fabrication, welding, or exhaust/emissions-related products preferredStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, metal fabrication, assembly)Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesExposure to custom-designed metal fabrication environmentsExperience working in high-volume production settingsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in oil & gas, power generation, or emissions control industriesKnowledge of ERP/MRP systemsSix Sigma (Green Belt or higher) certification or Lean certificationDCL America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, military/veteran status, genetic characteristics, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
