Clinical Support Specialist II

Maintain a neat and organized reception area and ensure it is securely locked before leaving.Maintain the clinical schedule: set appointments, ensure to prevent conflicting appointments, and make daily appointment reminder calls.Maintain cancellation list and attempt to fill cancelled appointment slots.Distribute paperwork to clients, review forms for accuracy, and obtain signatures, as needed.Assist with billing functions: verify insurance through online and/or telephonic means, obtain insurance authorizations.Provide additional billing support as assigned by the supervisor (data entry, reports, claims processing, etc.).Provide support for the submission of prior authorizations and ensuring complete and timely submissions to payers.Maintain client records according to the organization’s policies and procedures.Maintain organization, Ohio MHAS, and CARF required training.Maintain license or registration appropriate to profession and appropriate to job requirement, including appropriate amount of continuing education at all times of employment.Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.Other duties as assigned.Benefits And PayFull-Time staff at ERTI have access to the following benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage – Effective first day of the month following employmentShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Paid by EmployerLife Insurance for Employee in the amount of $25,000 paid by Employer.401K – Eligible after 3 months. 4% Employer Match with 100% vestmentPaid Parental LeaveHSA Contribution Match3 weeks paid vacation, which accrues per pay period.9 Paid Holidays and a Floating Holiday per year.Pet InsuranceHospital Indemnity, Accident, and Critical Illness Insurance OptionsOn-Site Weight RoomPay is competitive and commiserate with experience.Required Knowledge, Abilities, And Working ConditionsKnowledge of: Customer service techniques/skills, safety rules and procedures, the organization’s policies and procedures. Basic understanding of clinical office operations.Abilities: Multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Communicate information clearly and effectively. Standing, bending, stooping, sitting, walking, reaching above and below shoulder, repetitive use of hands to operate office equipment. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.Working Conditions: Standard office/clinical office setting. May require weekend, evening, and holiday hours. May be exposed to clients who are potentially angry or violent. General exposure to standard office equipment (computers, monitors, copiers, etc.).Qualifications And Education RequirementsExperience in working with Microsoft Office products, including email.Experience with using and navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other industry related types of applications.High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum two (2) years of experience working in a standard office/clinical office environment.Experience working in a mental health and/or addiction treatment agency a plus.Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative is an Equal Opportunity Employer
