Business Analyst – Reverse Logistics & Operations Support
OverviewSeeking a hands-on Business Analyst to support reverse logistics operations and execute process improvements across offline return workflows. This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. The BA will troubleshoot operational issues, support account management, and contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort.This role translates return-related challenges into practical solutions, working closely with account managers, customers, and cross-functional teams while managing multiple issues and workflows simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesReverse Logistics Operations & SupportTroubleshoot return-related tickets and resolve operational issuesSupport account managers and work directly with customers and retailersManage return merchandise authorization (RMA) processesHandle communication via calls and emails to resolve return discrepanciesProblem Solving & Process ExecutionInvestigate ambiguous issues and identify root causesExecute tactical operational tasks to support return workflowsContribute to process improvements and automation effortsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with technical, sales, and operations teamsParticipate in team meetings to align on issues and solutionsWork collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentData & ReportingUtilize data tools to analyze issues and support decision-makingWork with dashboards and reporting tools to track performance and trendsMust-Have Hard Skills (Top 3)Ability to navigate ambiguity and independently solve problemsExperience working with internal systems and operational toolsProficiency in data tools (e.g., Tableau, data matrices, reporting tools)Required ExpertiseStrong operational and administrative experience (4–7 years)Experience in troubleshooting and resolving process-related issuesBasic data analysis and reporting capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneouslyStrong communication skills for cross-functional and external interactionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Excel, dashboards, and data analysisFamiliarity with technical tools and systemsCollaborative mindset with a positive, easy-to-work-with attitudeBackground in technology or operations environmentsCore CompetenciesDemonstrates curiosity and a willingness to learnBuilds trust through reliability and communicationComfortable working in ambiguous environmentsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsOperates effectively in collaborative team settings
