Job Title: KOA Front DeskDepartment: Siyeh CampgroundsStatus: SeasonalReports To: Front Desk Supervisor/Campground GMPOSITION SUMMARYThe Front Desk position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people and providing excellent customer service in a campground setting. They help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests and contribute to the overall success of the campground. Other duties may include the coffee bar and store.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESGreet and Welcome GuestsProvide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests approaching the front desk.Guest ServicesHandle guest concerns and complaints thoughtfully while maintaining campground standards.Reservations and Check-insRegister guests, issue keys, keep records of occupied sites, make and confirm reservations, and collect payments.Information ProviderAnswer inquiries about campground amenities and local attractions.Team CommunicationMaintain good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments.Store ManagementHelp maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized store.ProfessionalismUphold high standards of professionalism, customer service, quality, and cleanliness.Prepare and Serve BeveragesMake and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.Customer InteractionGreet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.Menu KnowledgeEducate customers on the drink menu and make recommendations based on their preferences.Cash HandlingProcess payments, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale system.Maintain CleanlinessKeep the coffee bar area clean and organized, including sanitizing equipment and work areas.Stock ManagementEnsure the coffee bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients.ComplianceFollow health and safety regulations and company policies.All other duties as assigned.The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of essential functions for the job described, but rather a general description of some of the responsibilities necessary to carry out the duties of this position.
