Document Control & Compliance Analyst
DescriptionSummary of Position:Performs analysis of changes in product design and prepares necessary documentation for changes. Coordinates with the customer and engineering to determine a change reporting process. Assists in controlling and maintaining the Configuration Change Management Process. Assists in controlling and maintaining International Trade Compliance within USCS.Duties & ResponsibilitiesUpdates a documentation tracking systemProvide reports to managementCreate and maintain items and Bills of Materials (BOM’s) in OracleAssist in finding areas for process improvement in implementing changesFacilitates the Change Control BoardProvides comprehensive meeting minutesMaintain, release, and publish quality-related documents (QAM, QSP, WI)Maintain specification libraryCoordinate and update technical publications required to meet customer or regulatory requirementsAll other duties as assigned.RequirementsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. US Cargo Systems will require proof of status before employment.Education And/or ExperienceAssociate’s degree (A.A.) in technical discipline or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understands basic Configuration Management (CM) concepts and is familiar with EIA-649 and MIL-STD-480Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio)Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 Quality System RequirementsPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
