You'll teach swim skills using our curriculum while adapting to each swimmer's needs, comfort level, and abilities.You will:Ensure the safety of all swimmersTeach and demonstrate swim strokes and skillsBuild water confidence through encouragement and positive coachingCommunicate regularly with students and teammatesSupport the pool deck as neededReport to the Deck Supervisor or Site Supervisor during shiftsSmile, have fun, and bring great energy to every class QualificationsIntermediate swim experience (knowledge of all swim strokes)Ability to demonstrate swim skills in the waterCaring, patient, and compassionate with children and adultsStrong communication skillsPositive attitude and willingness to be coachedAbility to work in the water for up to 5 hoursComfortable in a fast-paced environmentReliable, dependable team playerAbility to commit to at least one year(Afternoons and weekends required) Our CommitmentWe are a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace.
