Python Developer (Automation)

Overview In this role you will lead testing activities across multiple products in a fast-moving market. You’ll plan, execute, and report on QA tasks while coordinating with diverse stakeholders. You will analyze requirements, identify ambiguities, and drive test case optimization and automation. This position supports the market data domain and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. ResponsibilitiesEstimate, coordinate and direct testing for multiple products/projectsAdhere to QA processes to complete tasksAttend project meetings and provide status updatesCreate reports: Daily Status, Ambiguity, Sizing, Sign-offPlan and execute all phases of the testing cycle, including ambiguity reviewsCoordinate installations in shared test environments and support end usersIdentify opportunities for test case optimization, cleanup, organization, and automationCreate and maintain test artifacts: use cases, test specifications, test cases, test scripts, test data Key requirementsAt least 4 years of experience in test strategy and test designAt least 4 years of experience in test execution analysis and reportingAbility to work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environmentStrong analytical, written and verbal communication, time management and multitaskingBasic understanding of investment security types (options, stocks, mutual funds, futures)Experience with testing lifecycle/methodologiesExperience in estimating, coordinating and directing testing for multiple products/projectsFamiliarity with QA processes and project meetingsExperience creating test metrics and reportsAnalytical thinkingStrong written and verbal communicationTime management and multitaskingCreate/use cases, develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test dataUnderstand ambiguity reports, test cases, test scripts, test dataWindows and Linux operating systems
