No Duties and Responsibilities1. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Card Officeincluding ensuring supplies are fully stocked (at both campuses).2. Hires, trains, schedules and supervises student employees at both campuses.3. Provides prompt and courteous customer service to all patrons seeking assistance in writing, in person and by telephone.4. Provides maintenance on Campus Card equipment located throughout campus.5. Regularly withdraws and deposits funds from transaction machines on campus with security.6. Responds to inquiries and resolves discrepancies; determines appropriate corrective actions within established guidelines and refers for action as appropriate.7. Clearly understands policies and procedures, both financial and academic, of the University in order to provide information to students; remains in contact with appropriate University departments for up-to-date information.8. Maintains the website and any updates to publications distributed by the Card Office.9. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by the Manager.10. Confidentiality of all employee and students records are maintained.Minimum Education and/or Work ExperienceCollege degree and at least one year of customer service, preferably with cash handling experience.QualificationsMust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Must have excellent customer Service. Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations calmly; respond promptly to customer needs as well as requests for service and assistance.Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Excellent verbal and diplomatic skills are critical.Must have basic math skills.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
