About The RoleWe are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Professional to support growth across the Coralville-Iowa City or Urbandale-Des Moines metro areas. This is a fully onsite role, requiring active engagement within the local business community.This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building partnerships, identifying opportunities, and translating strategy into measurable revenue growth. If you enjoy face-to-face interaction, networking, and influencing business outcomes, this role offers strong upside and autonomy.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within local and regional marketsBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and strategic partnersManage sales pipeline, schedule meetings, and track activities using CRM toolsRepresent the company professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking functionsCollaborate with internal teams to execute growth strategies and expand market presenceConsistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targetsActively participate in local networking and community engagement initiativesQualifications3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account managementDemonstrated success in closing deals and achieving revenue targetsStrong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilitiesExperience working with CRM platformsBachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience)Familiarity with the Coralville, Iowa City, or Des Moines business communitiesBackground in B2B sales or professional services (IT, A/V, or security industry experience preferred)Active involvement in local networking or community organizations is a strong plus
