Customer Service Representative

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Representative to add to their team. Responsible for managing customer relationships and handling requests including order entry, order status updates, sample coordination, shipment tracking, and follow-up on open items.Key Responsibilities:Maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accountsProcess and acknowledge customer orders within 24–48 hoursRespond to inquiries via phone, email, and other channels accurately and promptlyProvide proactive updates on order status and shipment trackingCoordinate sample requests and support sales team needsCommunicate issues or concerns related to orders, accounts, or projectsParticipate in internal meetings and support cross-functional teams (production, engineering, etc.)Track project timelines and keep stakeholders informedPrioritize tasks effectively while maintaining open communication with internal teamsFollow all safety policies and complete required trainingQualifications:High school diploma or GED required2+ years of customer service experience (manufacturing preferred)Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and manage time effectivelyDetail-oriented and team-focusedWork Environment:Office and manufacturing settingMay involve extended computer use and occasional exposure to noise, dust, and fumes
