Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients.Job SummaryThe Senior Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Food and Nutrition Department within a large hospital setting. This role provides leadership across all service areas, including the retail café, coffee shops, physician lounges, patient dining, and catering. The Senior Director ensures operational excellence, financial performance, exceptional food quality, and strong client relationships while developing and leading a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee daily operations of all dining and nutrition services, ensuring consistent service excellence across patient, retail, and catering areasOperate the department within the approved budget while maximizing value and financial performanceEnsure all food offerings meet high standards for quality, safety, presentation, and nutritionDirect and enforce comprehensive safety, sanitation, and maintenance programsBuild and maintain strong relationships with hospital leadership, clients, guests, and internal departmentsFoster a culture of professional growth, engagement, and accountability across the teamDevelop talent through coaching, performance management, and succession planningPromote strong interdepartmental collaboration and align dining services with the facility’s overall operational goalsAdditional duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of two years of experience at the Director level or higher in food and nutrition servicesHealthcare food service management experience required; acute care hospital experience strongly preferredAt least five years of proven leadership and people management experienceBachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceStrong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, and cost controlsDemonstrated expertise in food and catering trends, quality standards, production, sanitation, and presentationExperience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services strongly preferredServSafe® certification a plusForward-thinking, proactive leader who serves as a visible and trusted representative of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer systemsApply to TouchPoint today!TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
