ASET is managed by Arizona's State CIO and serves as an information technology leader for AZ government. ASET's Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) provides project management services that align to Arizona's Strategic IT Plan. ASET's EPMO is looking for someone who is passionate, highly skilled, committed to successful project execution and superior customer service to join our team. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.Job Duties:Manage multiple complex and high visibility enterprise projectsServes as project champion embracing and articulating project goals, objectives and outcomes for projects such as cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, digitization, enterprise-wide applications and managed partnershipsManage the project team to drive results and successes; Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilitiesManages the entire project life cycle from discovery through lessons learnedFacilitates team/stakeholder interactions, meetings and communicationsWorks with project resources, including procurement and vendor, to assure project healthEnsure the team is working together and step in when neededUnderstands, monitors and reports on project tasks, milestones and deliverablesDocument and report on project management activitiesGuides project teams to define requirements or stories/sprints/backlogsExperience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessaryBalances priorities among multiple projects/subprojectsPlan, budget, monitor and report on the project with project management toolsPresent to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutionsReport on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activitiesWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceDefine the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and servicesQualifications:Minimum of 3+ years in a project management or similar role utilizing PM processes/protocols1+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentationPM methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Lean, Kanban, Agile, hybrid)Bachelor's degree requiredPMP Certification requiredProactive OrientationStrong ability to identify and resolve risks/issues/changesSelf-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsTakes OwnershipCommitment to actions that lead to success for self/team/organizationDrives to ResultsTrack record of project results (with increasing levels of difficulty)Customer Focus - Strong customer service orientationExcellent Communicator, Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skillsPersonableStrong team/stakeholder interactions and working relationships; Effective with IT professionalsStrong planning, organization and presentation skills
