Position Summary: This newly created position will be responsible for the coordination of the community’s payroll, business office and human resource functions. We have centralized several of the business office and payroll duties and are searching for a dynamic individual to be the bridge at our community level. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate daily census by achieving full understanding of resident payer sources and their hierarchy along with state and federal regulations that pertain to census entry. Possess a full understanding of the Medicaid eligibility requirements and proactively identify and assist residents with the application process. Work with Medicaid Caseworkers to address denials and appeal where necessary. Maintain collection goals by ensuring prepayment of all private pay accounts. As needed, process daily deposits and apply funds accurately to resident accounts. Assist or lead recruitment activity, interviewing, on-boarding, orientation and retention of all employees. Assist and/or facilitate employees concerns on payroll, benefits, deductions, overtime, PTO, etc., as requested. Communicate with department directors/managers on payroll/HR matters that affect their staff members. Maintain OSHA logs and related information, work with employee and leadership regarding FMLA, ADA, and other LOA’s, maintain I9 information as required, and perform necessary tasks concerning unemployment and workers compensation. Participates in required meetings and internal processes as necessary (i.e. QAPI, Stand-up, compliance/concierge rounds, dining rotation, weekend manager activities, etc.). Qualifications/Skills: High school Diploma or equivalent required. Accounting, Finance or Human Resource degree preferred. 2-4 years of relevant office experience required. Previous Long Term Care experience preferred. Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs. Ability to multi-task, staying organized, managing time and multiple priorities in order to succeed. Shifts and Wages: Full-Time Opportunity Available Shifts Needed: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Wage: $24.00-26.00 per/hr.
