Long-term night assignment running 04/20/2026 - 07/19/2026.RequirementsAssess and monitor critically ill patients using sound nursing judgment and evidence-based practiceProvide advanced cardiac and critical care interventions consistent with BLS and ACLS protocolsAdminister medications, titrate drips, and manage complex therapies with attention to safetyCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plansPerform and document thorough patient assessments, including NIHSS when indicatedComplete required competency checklists and specialty exams to maintain high standards of careEducate patients and families about diagnosis, procedures, and recovery in a compassionate mannerRespond rapidly to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriatelyQualificationsActive Registered Nurse license (Illinois) with Nursys verificationCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationNIHSS certification and DCI/BVP as listed by the facilityTravel nurse documentation completed and compliant for long-term assignmentSuccessful completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology, Prime Specialty and Core Competency exams and Prime Skills ChecklistCompletion of required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB testing, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, fit test, influenza vaccine as applicable)Comfort and experience working night shift in a fast-paced critical care environment
