The Senior Project Management Associate will lead projects across various functions: Capital Markets, Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Platforms, Private & Strategic Businesses (CPPSB), Global Delivery Services, Global Infrastructure, and Global Security & Operations.ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementManage multiple stakeholders to plan and direct the analysis of business problemsDevelop schedules, timelines and milestones to manage and track project progressEnsure development of communications, testing and training plans appropriate to user/organization impactManage project teams, project scope, project schedules and stakeholder expectationsIdentify, document and communicate risks and issues as appropriateManage projects with cross team dependencies, such as technology (e.g. IT security initiatives, Disaster Recovery, Server replacements and upgrades)Adhere and contribute to PMO processes, policies, and toolsCollaborate with IT leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects/programs or other initiativesInterface regularly with Heads of Change Management, Quality Assurance, Enterprise Architecture, and other business areasGovernance/LeadershipAbility to drive results with a sense of urgency and influence personnel outside of a direct reporting structureDemonstrate ownership of issues by analyzing, gaining consensus, offering alternative solutions, or escalating as appropriate/applicableAct as a leader for the morale of the team; mentors team members to enhance their performancePartnershipDrive consensus on project strategy and direction leveraging IT Steering Committee meetings for key decisions and updatesAs a member of the PMO collaborate with Enterprise teams and directly liaise with leads for each business areasAlign and promote PMO value proposition and project lifecycle processes firm-wideReportingDevelop and present recurring dashboards and reports for key projects to the PMO and executive sponsorsMonitor and document progress, milestone deliverables, risks, and costs across projectsBudget/Resource ManagementTrack project budget and actuals, conduct regular reconciliations against plan, review reforecasts with project sponsors, and provide analysis to PMO DirectorInfluence and manage matrix resources assigned to projectQualificationsPMP certification and/or MBA a plus5+ years’ experience in project management and reporting, preferably in Financial Services6+ years’ experience in technology implementationAgile / Scrum experience preferredFinancial Services experience preferredAbility to work in a high-volume, fast paced, dynamic environment with a positive attitude, working under tight deadlines in an organized fashionExperience in technical area and managing teams/vendorsStrong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem analysis capabilities yet, able to conceptualize end-state solutionsAbility to collaborate and influence others effectivelyProven team-oriented person who can share information, goals, opportunities, successes and failures with the appropriate partiesCompensation: Expected Annual Base Salary $120,000 - $135,000 Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
