This role goes beyond support—acting as a strategic partner to advisors by helping them confidently sell, position, and grow their business with us. The Advisor Specialist combines relationship management, sales enablement, and operational expertise to increase advisor production, improve close rates, and deepen overall partnership.This position is based in St. George, Utah (in-person or hybrid), Dallas, Texas (fully remote), and Boca Raton, Florida (fully remote).What You'll DoServe as a dedicated partner to advisors, helping them identify opportunities and drive new businessActively support the sales process by guiding advisors on positioning, plan strategy, and overcoming objectionsUse data and reporting to track advisor performance, identify trends, and proactively drive increased productionCoach advisors on how to effectively present our offering, including key differentiators and value driversPartner with advisors on renewal and prospect strategy to maximize growth and retentionReinforce sales behaviors by maintaining consistent follow-up, accountability, and pipeline visibilitySupport onboarding of new advisors with a strong emphasis on early wins and production ramp-upIdentify common objections or challenges in the field and help refine messaging and sales strategiesQualifications2–5+ years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, or a related fieldA Life and Health insurance license is required for this role and will need to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Planstin will provide you with a study program and pay for the cost of the exam to obtain your license and renew it as needed.Proven ability or strong interest in sales, account growth, or advisor/broker enablementStrong understanding of group health plans, underwriting basics, and sales cyclesExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and coach othersHighly organized with strong follow-through and sense of ownershipExperience supporting brokers/advisors or working in a sales or client-facing role preferredBachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencePlanstin's Employee BenefitsCompensation: Base salary of $60,000-$65,000.12 paid holidays plus 3 weeks of paid time off to balance work and life.
