This is an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of software solutions in the field of instrumentation radar systems!ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain software applications in C++ and perform analysis using Python and/or MATLABCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutionsImplement and test software components, ensuring they meet project specifications and adhere to best practicesParticipate in code and engineering design reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to peersDebug and resolve software defects, ensuring timely delivery of bug-free solutions, and support the development/updates of radar system & subsystem user documentationStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software development, radar systems, and government contractsContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and workflowDevelop FPGA based waveform generators and timing subsystems (optional)Generate software specifications based on customer and or specific radar applicationsSupport the generation of software design documentation: Software Development Plan, Software Requirements Specification, Software Design Document, Version Description DocumentIntegrate and test radar subsystem hardware & software, to include developing integration and test plans, performing subsystem and system level performance testing, and supporting site integration and test activitiesSupport implementation and mitigation of cybersecurity protocols and RMF controls.Provide on-site radar engineering and operations support (to both land and shipboard systems).
