Director of Development

A growing nonprofit organization is seeking a Director of Development to lead its fundraising function and deepen its roots in the community. This individual will build and manage a robust donor pipeline, oversee grant writing, and serve as the public face of the organization's philanthropic mission.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising strategyCultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundationsLead grant identification, writing, and reporting processesOrganize and oversee fundraising events and campaignsCollaborate with marketing to build community awareness and brand affinityPrepare and present development reports to the Board of DirectorsManage and mentor a development teamIdeal Background:5+ years of nonprofit fundraising or development experienceDemonstrated success growing donor bases and managing major gift portfoliosExperience with CRM/donor management platforms (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce Nonprofit)CFRE certification a plusPassion for mission-driven causesPowered by JazzHR
