Niche, high-demand underground T&D workExposure to complex, large-scale projectsAbout Our ClientWe are partnering with a leading engineering firm supporting complex utility infrastructure and grid modernization projects across the U.S. This team is heavily involved in underground transmission design, with a growing portfolio of projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV, particularly in urban and high-density environments.Job DescriptionDesign underground transmission systems ranging from 69kV, 115kV, 138kV, 230kV, 345kV up to 500kVDevelop cable system layouts including duct banks, conduit systems, and trenchless installationsPerform ampacity calculations, cable sizing, and thermal analysisSupport route selection, permitting, and constructability reviewsDesign and coordinate vaults, splice boxes, and termination structuresDevelop engineering drawings, specifications, and material takeoffsEnsure compliance with NESC, IEEE, and utility-specific standardsCoordinate with civil, structural, and environmental teamsProvide field support during installation, testing, and commissioningMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
