Junior CollegesElementary and Secondary SchoolsColleges, Universities, and Professional SchoolsTraveler AccommodationEducational Support ServicesJob ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Director, the Coursework Coordinator supports the WinthropLIFE program, which offers postsecondaryeducation opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities, by teaching LIFE classes to students.* Provides instruction to small groups on various topics, including health practices, mobility, housekeeping,finances and careers.Assesses student learning from baseline to mastery.Reviews outcomes and modifies instructional material based on results.Tracks and maintains accurate student attendance records.Represents WinthropLIFE at both on and off campus events.Minimum and Additional Requirements* Bachelor's degree.* One year of professional experience working with students with intellectual disabilities.* Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons; adapt classroom management strategies to meet diverse studentneeds.Ability to assess student learning objectively and consistently.Ability to represent the WinthropLIFE program in a professional manner.Sufficient technical ability to master software required to perform job duties.Effective oral and written communication.Additional CommentsAnnual Salary/Hiring Range: $44,650; Aug. 1 to May 15.Please complete the application to include all current and previous work history and education.
