Position Title: CustodianLocation: Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, ArkansasEmployment Type: Full-TimeObjective: seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to provide custodial and sanitation services at Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA). The Custodian will perform cleaning and maintenance duties in administrative, industrial, warehouse, and specialized facilities in accordance with contract requirements, safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures. The successful candidate will support a clean, safe, and professional working environment while ensuring compliance with all federal installation requirements.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Custodian shall perform a variety of custodial and janitorial duties, including but not limited to:Clean and sanitize offices, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, warehouses, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floorsShampoo carpets and maintain carpeted areasEmpty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental and recycling proceduresDust and wipe furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, blinds, and equipment surfacesRestock restroom and hygiene suppliesMaintain cleaning equipment in safe operating conditionFollow all approved cleaning schedules and performance standardsReport damaged property, unsafe conditions, spills, or maintenance concerns to supervisors immediatelyPerform emergency cleaning services as directedSupport periodic deep-cleaning operations and special projectsEnsure all assigned work areas remain secure after completion of servicesMaintain professional conduct and appearance while on Government installationsComply with all safety, environmental, and security regulations applicable to Pine Bluff Arsenal operationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious custodial or janitorial experience preferredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English effectivelyMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesRequirementsThe Custodian position requires the ability to:Stand and walk for extended periodsLift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 poundsBend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach frequentlyWork in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditionsOperate custodial equipment and machinery safelyPerform duties in hot, cold, humid, dusty, or industrial environmentsMust comply with all Pine Bluff Arsenal access and security proceduresMust adhere to key control and facility access proceduresMay be subject to background investigations and security vetting requirementsPowered by JazzHRwjvmUKvt88
