This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in Eugene, OR. The role involves delivering comprehensive evaluations and targeted therapy to support students with speech and language disorders, contributing to their academic and social success.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments for students presenting with various speech and language challengesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needsProvide engaging therapy sessions aligned with established speech and language goalsSystematically monitor, document, and report on student progressCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure cohesive careCommunicate and partner with families to foster involvement and understanding in the treatment processQualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferredExperience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirableStrong communication skills and ability to connect with students, families, and colleaguesDemonstrated capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team memberActive license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Oregon or eligibility to obtain suchThis position provides an excellent platform for professional growth supported by a knowledgeable advisory team composed of state-licensed SLPs, offering ongoing guidance.
